The top of my foot was purple after I broke my ankle. It was sore and purple for 3 years and I finally decided to do something about it. He also helped me with my acid reflux and menstrual cramps.

After one treatment the purple color faded away a little and the pain was way less. After 3 treatments the color of my foot became normal and I was PAIN-FREE! My acid reflux and menstrual cramps are also GONE!

I met Dr. Healy at a Rotary Club meeting and decided that I needed to take control of my "pre-diabetes" situation... because I didn't want to get diabetes. So, I worked with Dr. Healy for 6 weeks to detox my body. Since I have never done this type of thing in my 65 years, it was difficult at times. However, I stuck with it and had some surprising results. 1. I dropped my glucose number and my A1C number to be "out" of the "pre-diabetes" situation (which is what I hoped to do) and 2. I also lost 13 pounds of FAT and dropped 2 pants sizes. (I had NO IDEA that this would happen.) I've been on weight loss diets before and lost a lot of weight so, normally, the first 10 lbs would be "water weight" and I wouldn't lose inches. Coming to Root Wellness has been a life changer. Dr Healy and his entire staff, who are always welcoming and... accommodating, deserve an exceptional review. I have spent the last 20 years suffering from autoimmune disorders, chronic, debilitating pain and hormone imbalances. I've seen more doctors and specialists than I can count.If only I had found this incredible team of health care professionals before putting myself through rigorous treatments, medications and three spinal surgeries. I was that person who allowed my medical insurance to determine my treatments, only to discover my health continued to deteriorate.When I began to experience extreme muscle spasms and paralysis in my hands, it really frightened me. I was referred by my insurance carrier for severe pain following a lumber disc tear and am very glad that I followed... their referral. The staff is personable, knowledgeable and very friendly. The practitioner that treats me is Dr. Shyler Neveux. She is very gentle and explains the procedures clearly and completely before proceeding. I feel that she understands my pain and discomforts and truly wants me to improve. Dealing with this office is way better than most other medical offices, and they try to make you as comfortable as possible. As for the results of the treatments, I noticed a great deal of improvement after the very first treatment and continue to notice improvement after each session. Please give acupuncture at this office a try - it did wonders for my pain and I have no doubt that I will continue to improve and heal.read more

For some reason I started getting Tinnitus back in March. I went to see my doctor who had given me antibiotics to see... if that would help, as well as a referral to an ENT. The antibiotics unfortunately did nothing, so I went to the ENT. After a decent amount of testing, I was told that there was nothing that they could do as, "It was a very common problem, with no known solution". A few months after, maybe June/July my tinnitus got so bad I had many sleepless nights. I even tried a bunch of at home "solutions/remedies", from putting hydrogen peroxide in my ears to leaving the TV on at night to drown out the noise. Luckily, I mentioned this to a friend who referred me to Root. A couple weeks later, I finally called in. That same day I got an exam, as well as an initial treatment. After just 2 treatments, and with an herbal tea given to me, my tinnitus noticeably went down. After about a month or so, there were times that it went away COMPLETELY. I am still getting treatment, but the issue has significantly lessened and limited to just my left ear. I am still amazed at the results!!! Thank you so very much!!!read more

I had a wonderful experience working with the team at Root Healing and Acupuncture. I was having a strange heart... issue. Working with the team, we started with blood work and from there were able to determine a proper course of action. My blood work was all over with an excess of antibodies and inflammation. Using herbs and dietary restrictions we corrected the blood work, with weeks i was feeling significantly better and months later still feeling great. Heart issues are gone, inflammation and antibodies are down. This was a great experience and I can not thank Gene and his team enough.
