Frequently Asked Questions
What is the $47 consultation?
The $47 new patient consultation is an opportunity to meet our team, discuss your symptoms and health history, and learn whether our integrative approach might be appropriate for your situation. There's no commitment to ongoing treatment โ it's a chance to determine if working together makes sense.
What does your approach to neuropathy involve?
Our approach combines acupuncture, functional medicine, and supportive therapies into a personalized care plan. This is based on the same integrative model we use in our research collaboration with the University of South Florida. The specific elements of your plan depend on your situation, history, and goals.
How soon can I be seen?
We often have same-week appointments available for new patients. Once you submit the form or call us, our team will reach out to schedule a time that works for you.
Do you take insurance?
We're a cash-based practice. We can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend checking your plan's out-of-network policy in advance.
Will I need to stop my current medications?
Our approach is complementary to conventional medical care and is not a replacement for it. Never stop prescribed medications without consulting your prescribing physician. We work alongside your existing healthcare providers when appropriate.
